I am a Research Associate on the Profusion theme of the Heritage Futures project, based in the Department of Sociology at the University of York. I am a trained objects conservator and archaeologist. My previous research has explored heritage values and significance, decision-making processes in objects conservation and, most recently, how heritage organisations work with volunteers to care for heritage places in the UK during austerity. I also coordinate the Early Career Researchers Network of the Association of Critical Heritage Studies.
