In March 2017, the Heritage Futures team collaborated with Kew Gardens staff in hosting a 3-day thought experiment that gathered individuals from an array of different heritage organisations to explore how their practices and procedures contribute to defining and shaping the diversity of the future.

During this event, researchers Nadia Bartolini and Jennie Morgan asked Tim Badman (Director of the Nature-Culture Initiative, IUCN) to give us his impressions on the workshop, and how some of the activities help him reflect on his own work and practices. The interview was video-recorded, and interspersed with images of activities that took place at Kew.
