Sharon Macdonald
Co-Investigator
Sharon Macdonald is Alexander von Humboldt Professor of Social Anthropology and Director of the Centre for Anthropological Research on Museums and Heritage (CARMAH) in the Institute of European Ethnology, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. She is also an Honorary Professor in the Department of Sociology, University of York. She is currently a principal investigator on the following projects: Making Differences: Transforming Museums and Heritage in the Twenty-first Century (Alexander von Humboldt Foundation), Matters of Activity: Image, Space, Material (German Research Foundation), and Curating Digital Images (German Research Foundation). Sharon was a Co-Investigator and led the Profusion theme of the Heritage Futures research programme.
